Fill in the Blank with Spinning® Master Instructor and SoulSista Founder, Natashia Iacovelli | Australia

Favorite time of day to teach is...Early morning with a soft gradual build for the rest of the day. I got involved with the Spinning® program when...I was already working at a studio as an aerobic instructor and they were getting the program. It was in fact the 4th club in the entire country to get it back in 1997 – so it was super exciting. Three months later the opportunity to apply to become a Master Instructor came up and I jumped on it. I fell in love from the very first moment. My perfect day is... natashia-20 A good work day is divided in two halves. It would start with teaching an early Spinning session followed by my own practice of hot yoga at my favorite studio. A delicious breakfast (usually avocado mash and eggs) and then a quick strength workout at the gym. I would then go home and sit down to a solid afternoon of working on my other daily tasks for SoulSista. I’m super task-oriented, but I like to get my fitness and classes done early so then I can focus on my other business in the afternoon. Prefer not to work nights these days if possible. If I was on vacation on the other hand, I would be in a hot tropical beach location – Negril has been a favorite for many years.I would start with an early morning run on the beach followed by a swim, then breakfast watching the water followed by a few hours of work. Writing is one of my favorite things to do while I’m away or some designing for my clothing line. I get super inspired and creative when I’m on holidays. I would also fit in a little chat on social media with all my peeps across the world, post some super supportive a positive posts across all our SoulSista social media platforms. Then it’s beach time. A great book, a super cute bikini and a day of gorgeous vitamin D, ocean breeze and sand between the toes. In the afternoon, I like to head to the gym – either a yoga practice or some strength work. Then back for dinner and then usually an early night (if I’m travelling solo). I’m an absolute beach bum and love exercising when I’m away, but that also means I’m pretty tired by the end of the day – but it’s definitely my type of tempo. I can’t sit still for too long. Every week I teach... 6-10 classes a week and then maybe 4-8 Personal Training sessions. I try to get all my fitness work done by noon and then my other work is saved for the afternoon. I devote 50% of my week to fitness and the other half to working on SoulSista. When I’m not teaching, you can find me...Usually on my Mac – I am always, always working on something for SoulSista. I love a challenge and a project –life is too short to sit around. I did triathlons for six years and although I loved it, I didn’t realize how much time and energy it took out of me until I stopped. These last 12 months – particularly since I stopped racing – I feel like I have accomplished so much and have so much energy to dedicate to my business. I still like to train everyday, but now I don’t need to train 20 hours each week so there is no pressure. SoulSista in my head has so much growth potential, and there are endless things I want to do with it, making a difference in the world of other women and creating a global community where women can feel supported and connected has become my baby. Creating clothing and jewelry – which we love to wear and celebrates our unique Sistahood – is now my daily obsession. So when I’m not wearing my fitness and Spinning® hat, it’s SoulSista all the way. The number one thing on my bucket list is... A three-month trip around South America (but I must be able to speak Spanish fluently and know how to salsa dance!) The mantra I live by is...“Life is too short to have regrets.” Make the most of every single moment and enjoy the amazing adventure and opportunities that life presents. And always listen to your gut. Everything is always better with...My sistas and a hug from somebody who means it. The word people use to describe me most is...No idea. Crazy?T+N_072115-beach-for-WP
